If you were ever diagnosed with anemia, then your doctor may have prescribed you Anadrol (also called oxymetholone), an oral anabolic androgenic steroid used for treating anemia caused by a deficiency of red cell production.

Some bodybuilders have said that taking Anadrol appears to be more effective when taken in the beginning of a cycle rather than in the latter part.
Anadrol is taken orally and may be accompanied with food or milk if the stomach reacts adversely. It must be taken regularly, if maximum benefits are desired, and if possible, must be taken at the same time each day. The strength of Anadrol dosage depends on the medical condition; patients are encouraged not to increase the dose or frequency other than the one prescribed by their doctor. It may take anywhere from three to six months before concrete results of Anadrol become evident.
